In 2020, Pell Software partnered with Roadrunner Services to build their operations platform from the ground up, launching the first version later that year. Since then, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with their team using agile development practices, continuously refining the system, eliminating reliance on third-party services, and delivering new features as their business has grown and evolved. Challenges
Roadrunner Services had long relied on a legacy operations platform owned and managed by a third-party business partner, leaving them with little control over their own workflows, data, and ability to scale. As the only national provider of local vehicle transportation services, their operational complexity had outgrown what an off-the-shelf or shared system could offer. Managing thousands of driver runs, vehicle movements, payroll, and customer invoicing across 45+ locations nationwide required a purpose-built solution — one they truly owned.
